When I attended my first Love Heals event in 2021, I immediately saw an organization that had the heart to help one person because of the 99 to 1 principle, yet the vision to help thousands at the same time. No matter how large it grows, Love Heals will always be focused on helping individuals going through hardship. I am honored and driven to work toward the organization’s vision to build a world where no one walks through hardship alone, one person at a time.

I am passionate about helping this ministry reach the next level as an organization through structure, planning, and submission to the Lord in all of it.

By lifting up storytellers and rallying communities around individuals in need, Love Heals appeals to the best of what humanity can be.

Love Heals acts as the hands and feet of Jesus with great sincerity and intention. The invitation to worship together and hear from storytellers has always stirred my heart for the Lord and to serve.

I see how Love Heals has the ability to reach those who have fallen through the cracks and meet real needs for them. That is an exciting opportunity to be a part of.

Love Heals reminds us of how our stories are woven into the tapestry of God’s redemptive plan. In the ups, the downs, and everything in between - He is with us. And that's all we need. I am excited to work with the Love Heals team and be a part of creating a world where no one walks through hardship alone.

I’m excited to serve on the Board with Love Heals because this ministry not only serves for the good of the storytellers impacted, but it also provides a meaningful and organized framework for the local church to make a meaningful impact in the lives of community members within and outside of their church body.

Love Heals appeals to me because it meets a need in the most basic sense. When the organization stepped in to take care of Elaine, they really met her with the most basic needs – phone bill, groceries, gas. Having Love Heals raise funds specifically so she can pay for the other random things that she needed, it brought her SO MUCH relief. They went beyond that and campaigned for her and created all these interesting and creative ways to integrate her story into fundraising - a charcuterie board and an ice cream flavor based off of Elaine’s favorites, a worship concert here in LA - it meant so much to her. Not just as a handout, but that they cared for her and about her as a person.

I’m excited to be a part of Love Heals because it presents a humbling opportunity for me to show others that the light of Jesus can still illuminate in the darkest of seasons.

As a believer, I understand that we need to help one another and give back as well. I also believe in community and the power of working together to take care of a need that by ourselves we couldn’t do. As a singer/songwriter I love the power of music and how LH is able to raise money for those who need help by offering these benefit concerts. So, pretty much, I’m passionate about it all.
